The Carocelle®
College Partners program wants to support you in every way that
we can by providing you with some outstanding ideas for marketing
and selling the Carocelle.
These marketing
ideas are easy and take very little time so you have more time
to close sales and make commission off of the referrals you send
to www.carocelle.com.
Great
Idea #1
Make sure
people know that you are a Carocelle® Representative
by announcing your new business venture. Send
the following email to everyone in your email address
book, in your chat list or on your buddy list. Be sure to include
family and friends at home and at school.
Then attach
the following pdf sales
flyer to the email that will give them more information
about the Carocelle® and lead them to the web
site.
Great
Idea #2
Print off
a few copies of the pdf file Carocelle® flyer
and post them around campus at some of the locations listed below.
Be sure to add your name as a Carocelle® Student
Representative, your email address and your phone number. Make
sure to check your school's rules about posting information.
Great
Idea #3
Gather a group
of friends and students and conduct a live demonstration of the
Carocelle®. All you need are some dirty dishes,
a sink with countertop and some dish detergent and you're in business!
Invite people to the demonstration via email or by posting flyers.
Share with them all of the great ways they can benefit from using
the Carocelle®, stressing the fact that they
hate to wash dishes and never have enough clean dishes.
When you sign
up, remember to purchase your Carocelle® at
a deep discount of $50 off for your own dishwasher and demonstrator
model. If you've already signed up, go to the Carocelle®
ordering page
and put in REFERRED BY -- "demo model with your ID code."
Be creative
and think of what motivates your friends -- have some snacks.
Food always works.
Great
Idea #4
Attend a student
function, group meeting or study group and be a part of the program
by demonstrating or displaying the Carocelle®.
At the most you can demonstrate but, at the least, take flyers
and tell them that you are the new campus Representative and invite
them to visit the web site or give you their email for more information.
The
more students you can reach in person, by flyer, or by email,
the money you stand to make. It's a matter of numbers and reaching
as many on campus and off as you can.
Great
Idea #5
Build your
own web page and submit it to all the search engines. Use your
page as a portal page to the www.carocelle.com site. You can feel
free to use the wording and graphics from the Carocelle®
site as they are without changes on your own web page.
If you already
have a web page, you can add a Carocelle® page
to it and even add a link to your personal page leading them to
www.carocelle.com. For example, the link could say "Suzy
Jones, Carocelle Student Representative. Go here to see how you
CAN afford a dishwasher and you can STOP washing dishes by hand.
It's about time!"
Great
Idea #6
If you don't
know how to build an entire page, you can always create an email
signature at the bottom of your email that says, for example,
"Suzy Jones, Carocelle Student Representative -- Don't you
hate washing dishes by hand? I do! That's why I'm selling (or
representing) the Carocelle® Portable Countertop
Dishwasher. You CAN afford a dishwasher. And, you can STOP washing
dishes!
Visit www.carocelle.com
or email me for more information. Be sure to mention Suzy Jones,
Referral ID# ?????, when ordering. Thank you!"
Great
Idea #7
Get listed
or linked from your school's web site or post a message announcing
your new venture with Carocelle® on your school's
bulletin board or other online student communities and newsgroups
that you belong to -- including any Yahoo! Clubs where you frequent
often.
Remember to
announce, post or get listed at all of the sites where you and
other students like you visit often. You can reach thousands,
maybe millions, online. Imagine the potential that could do to
your commission!
Great
Idea #8
Use the Carocelle
product or Carocelle Industries Inc. as the feature of a class
project like a sales presentation or a marketing brochure, etc.
This will give you a chance in a non-salesy way to tell people
about your new venture and to get exposure to a "captive
audience."
Great
Idea #9
Set up a booth
or trade show table to display the Carocelle®
and talk to students about their despise of washing dishes by
hand. Ask student services where and when it would be appropriate
to set up a table. High traffic areas like the post office, main
entrances, where main hallways meet, cafeteria, at sporting and
campus events -- wherever you can be seen and talk to students.
REMEMBER: Fall orientation is a great opportunity to pitch
parents directly!
Great
Idea #10
Pitch your
new venture to your school newspaper. Tell them about your entrepreneurial
spirit and pitch the idea of students and their hate for washing
dishes. Write a funny editorial about the plight of the college
student and their grungy cappuccino mugs -- the inconvenience,
the embarrassment, the bacteria living in their mugs. Think of
creative angles that would interest your school publications to
write about you. Email or call them and pitch the idea.
Better yet,
tell them about your new venture and ask them if they would be
interested in doing a joint promotion together. You could even
call the career center and brainstorm ways to promote their center
by featuring you and your entrepreneurial venture.
BONUS
Great Idea
Think outside
the box and create your own marketing plan and promotions. If
you do create and plan to use marketing materials other than those
supplied by Carocelle®, please be sure to submit them to the
company for prior review.
